Stopped by during the Mountain View Wine Festival as most of the restaurants on Castro were very crowded and had long lines. Luckily, I was able to sit down immediately and ordered right away. Food: Ordered BBQ Pork, Eggrolls, Vermicelli, and Salad (#46) and a Pho with rare steak and well done brisket (#04). Food came out relatively quickly and was pleasantly surprised! The bowl was HUGE and was piping hot, just the way I like my pho. I didn't expect much from this restaurant on the face of it (it's off a small side street and when I've walked by it before, it was half empty). Let my lesson be your opportunity to snag a hidden gem in Mountain View for pho! Service: Friendly, fast, and clean. No frills. It's one of those places where you sit down, they give you the menu, and then leave to come back with water. The server comes back in 1 minute with a pitcher of water and asks if you're ready. Haha. Be ready early! Overall, very happy with this place and I'd definitely go again if I'm in the area.

This place is absolutely so delicious and authentic! It's probably the best pho place I've had in the Bay Area! The soup in the pho itself is so delicious and so flavorful, the meats are also very flavored and juicy, you can tell that they are high-quality. The pork chop rice with egg is also absolutely wonderful, i'm not sure why but their fried eggs are so good here! I also don't feel thirsty after eating the meal, which means that it is authentic ingredients and not MSG. The service is great, the food comes very fast, everything is also very cheap for the good portion! The environment is pretty big and it is very clean! Love this place so much

Got here around 5pm and it was pretty slow but picked up soon after. Server was nice and came back to check on us a decent amount. The food was great, I got a large bowl of pho with rare steak and oxtails. The bowl was huge compared to my friends regular bowl, the price difference only being $1 (my large bowl was $16.90). Great tasting pho with a decent price/quantity.

this is a good spot for take out. i called ahead and ordered a pho #5 and their service was super quick and to the point. I drove over in 10 minutes and my order was ready to be picked up. The pho itself was very filling and delicious. It is the bay area and for the size you're getting, the price is justified. overall, i would recommend:)

Very quick service, friendly staff, and delicious food! Legendary staple that has been here for years. Always busy with customers and takeout orders, but you don't need to wait at all :) FOOD: 1A Oxtail Pho (8/10) - Delicious broth without too much MSG, loads of noodles and meat, and tender oxtail. I think the oxtail could be cooked slightly more before putting it into the broth, but overall delicious Fried Eggrolls (9/10) - Some of the best fried vietnamese eggrolls out there! Definitely get it as it goes along great with the pho!

We were craving for pho tonight so came to this place near Castro Street. Excellent menu of pho selections for you to choose from. I ordered their #16 Special pho which includes rare steak, fatty brisket, tendon, flank, tripe. Added some lime juice and slice jalapenos for a kick. A great combination of all the trimmings! Their soup is flavorful and not much MSG in it. For just $1 extra, you can get a size Large bowl of pho which is an excellent bargain. Their Vietnamese ice coffee is also pretty tasty and strong. I guess I am not sleeping tonight haha.
